--If your artist puts a bandage on your tattoo, leave it on for about an hour, then wash it gently with mild soap and water. Do this a few times daily.

--Sparingly apply bacitracin or A&D ointment. Massage it into skin while keeping tattoo moist.

--Let the tattoo air out. You do not have to keep it covered up.

--Scabbing & peeling are normal. Let it fall off on it's own.

--Direct sunlight, swimming, and soaking should be avoided during healing times to prevent possible color loss.
